labor day vacation.

my adorable bloggers, i've not forgotten you; i've been on vacation with the crazy crew that is my family. overall the trip went great. i do have some remaining sanity left in tact. that totally surprised me, by the way. the majority of my family retreated down to cherry grove beach to a house that belongs to a family member of a family friend. there were quite a few hairy moments during the trip, but overall, it was great.
one favorite moment was a dry ice bomb. that was pretty awesome. then another favorite moment was when we caught some crabs in the crab trap, them bitches was fuckin!! seriously!! attached and everything!! we began packing up the vehicles yesterday when one baby brother got over zealous in his efforts to haul items to various vehicles and tripped on the stairs. long story short, we think he broke his elbow into two places. he went to get a permenant cast today but the swelling was too great for them to properly do so. he has to wait two weeks for new xrays to determine the course of treatment.
naturally i got home to mom's and was a-okay. i woke up this morning sick as a damn dog. idk, so don't ask. i'm going to the doc-in-the-box in the morning. but i was fine the entire trip to the beach, then BAM!! ugh. atleast its not a possible broken elbow like my lil brother. included are beach pics. enjoy!!

rollercoaster moods.

hello, bloggy blog. how i have so desperately missed thee. i have been super busy these past few days, so i must plead for your forgiveness.

last week my hormones were acting crazy something horrible. seriously. i felt bi-polar. i'd be happy one minute and then the next second, literally be steaming mad. at first i chalked it up to pms, because i usually have a rough bout with it like every two to three months or so. i also had some very unfriendly female issues goin on that i didn't find so polite. it just made an aggravating situation more aggravating. then i thought maybe it was because i had my a.d.d. riddled brother for a solid week and he refused to take his meds. thats enough to get on ya nerves fo' sho'. then it struck me clear as day this weekend when i was back home. it was the darvacet. i have not been abusing it in any capacity but had been taking it at regular times during my daily regimen. therefore i had it in my system continuously. i quit taking it and bam! just like that, my mood evened out. thank my stars too because that shit is for the birds.


this weekend i was back home, as i previously mentioned. i spent quality time with my friends. i made a break through with one, and supported another in her time of strife. "friendship is the key to happiness," said my nana's pillow. and that couldn't be more true.

i've posted some pictures below. you can see our newly installed huge fenced in back yard for our four legged furbabies to romp around in. also some pigs feet and ears that i saw at the hoggly woggly that kind of creeped me out. but the main thing that got me was a piece of hair weave i saw sitting in the meat department. YUUUUUUCK!! you'll also see where i put a barrette in sophia's hair. she looked so pleased with it too. there is also a picture of her sitting with one of my besties. and in another picture, you'll see our new comforter and bedskirt. its oh-so-pretty!!

here we are, at the very end of the process of building our house. i'm starting to get antsy now; there are so many things i want to do. honey doesn't want the house to look trashy, nor do i. i do want it to be personal, not the epitome of mediocre.

i'm thinking of all that is to come, god willing. i will enjoy this. i am enjoying this. i keep daydreaming of our future. harley, jackson, sophia, and kitty-kitty all wandering about, with a baby swing in the living room, and little piles of baby clothes sitting on the couch, waiting to be folded. just thinking about that brings about a warm, fulfilled feeling in my heart. i can't help but to smile.

we had my other brother, a, down for the weekend. i love them, they're great. i see them in each other. (although that should be common sense seeing as to how they are twins. duh.) we were supposed to begin packing while he was here. woops. my mama even yelled at me about that shit. boo on her.

my grandma's 80th birthday is fast approaching. wow. i can't believe she'll be that old. aunt b mentioned something about a dinner at grandma's favorite restaurant. we'll see if that holds true. i'll be shocked if it does. i hope it does happen; it'd do her good in so many ways.
