crazy antics.

okay so in all honesty, not a heck of a whole bunch has been going on around these parts. life is plodding along, quietly and quite nicely.

no sooner did i get that typed out when there was a knock at our front door. a friend of wifey's, a fellow 'family' member of the male species, wanted to borrow the computer to look something up. i happily obliged him. apparently, he was looking for flamingos. and no, not of the plastic persuasion. he was looking where to purchase a real.live.eating.breathing.shitting.pink flamingo. because its so classy. yes, yes. it takes all kinds, i suppose.

as far as the pictures go, they are pretty much self explanatory. all three of our furbabies chillin out on a fantastically cool summer's day, brothers in combat, harley and jackson resting from a bout of "wrassling," evil kittykitty proving my theory that felines are all out to plot and destroy the world (or in our kitty's case, the back of my wife's head), me at a cookout, the wifey and i at a cookout, and last but not least,... harley looking on as our youngest son gets violently raped by his incestuous sister. i can see her in her mind thinking, "who's the bitch now, BITCH?!"

yet another run-in with a member of the evil tyrant's family has once again stunned me. seriously, the majority of these people are equivalent to cockroaches, they never die or go away. (unless you liquor them up really good, apparently.) i feel so stupid EVERY TIME one of them manages to stun me with their ever so eloquent level of... trashiness. i can't find the word i am looking for to adequately describe what it is that these people bring forth upon the world. you would think that after 27 years of being CONTINUOUSLY surprised by their antics that i'd be used to it by now. but no sir'eee bob, the surprises just keep a'comin. as is, i pay a whopping $5 per month to block a specific household and its members from calling my cell. (that's a lot of money per year, if you think about it, to just keep the cockroaches away.) but it gives me peace of mind, so its worth every penny. something told me to deny her request as a friend on face.book. but no, i shut that voice up so foolishly, just as i do everytime, hoping against all hope that these people have bathed in a tub of decency. one day i'll learn, i hope. its hard as hell to deplete their filth off of you. its off to my own tub of decency and love and support to wash away more dirt from this preverbial never ending war, in which i wish and wish and wish to be over.

last week my hormones were acting crazy something horrible. seriously. i felt bi-polar. i'd be happy one minute and then the next second, literally be steaming mad. at first i chalked it up to pms, because i usually have a rough bout with it like every two to three months or so. i also had some very unfriendly female issues goin on that i didn't find so polite. it just made an aggravating situation more aggravating. then i thought maybe it was because i had my a.d.d. riddled brother for a solid week and he refused to take his meds. thats enough to get on ya nerves fo' sho'. then it struck me clear as day this weekend when i was back home. it was the darvacet. i have not been abusing it in any capacity but had been taking it at regular times during my daily regimen. therefore i had it in my system continuously. i quit taking it and bam! just like that, my mood evened out. thank my stars too because that shit is for the birds.

this weekend i was back home, as i previously mentioned. i spent quality time with my friends. i made a break through with one, and supported another in her time of strife. "friendship is the key to happiness," said my nana's pillow. and that couldn't be more true.

i've posted some pictures below. you can see our newly installed huge fenced in back yard for our four legged furbabies to romp around in. also some pigs feet and ears that i saw at the hoggly woggly that kind of creeped me out. but the main thing that got me was a piece of hair weave i saw sitting in the meat department. YUUUUUUCK!! you'll also see where i put a barrette in sophia's hair. she looked so pleased with it too. there is also a picture of her sitting with one of my besties. and in another picture, you'll see our new comforter and bedskirt. its oh-so-pretty!!

my BFF was here this weekend and helped us get a lot accomplished. as a surprise to my beautiful wife, liz and i took my fur babies out for a down home photo shoot. a trip to big lots to purchase some silver shadow box picture frames, and a bit of glass cleaner later, voila!! as another surprise, we framed some alaskan prints i had given my honey a few years ago. aaaaaaand, last but not least, we bought one of dem dere big picshure frames with all dem holes in it, and made a collaborative collage of sorts of both families intertwined. its super classy.

i believe my ocd-like attention to details will pull all of the things in our home together quite nicely. it'll appear as if mature people reside there! boy, won't visitors be fooled?!
below are some pictures from this weekend. the liquor bottle pictures are from an accident scene of somebody we know. it was a drunk driving accident, non fatal. i don't know if that bottle flew out of the vehicle and landed that way in the tree, or if somebody placed it there. either way, this is exactly as we found it. it struck me as a powerful sight. i don't know why. but i had liz shoot it for a great photo. and by the way, aren't my children just the cutest you ever saw? these pictures truly captured their personalities. -side note- if you look closely in sophia's pictures, you can see a bee that flew in front of the camera. it caught sophia's attention too.

i shall.

okay, wow its been a while since i've visited this bloggosphere. let's see...
been awhile Pictures, Images and Photos
#1- Octo-Mom: okay. seriously the american psychiatric association needs to add a new mental disease. i'm not sure what they'd call it, but i know that octo-mom wouldn't be the only person afflicted with the disease. michelle duggar would be patient numero dos. back to Octo-Mom, what in the WORLD could be her rationale for how she is going to feed her brood? jesus. i saw somewhere that she likes comparing herself to angelina jolie and her little brood of deities. um, excuse me, let's take this in for a moment...one lives at home with her mom, the other has countless mansions around the world (her address ends reads: angelina jolie, mount olympus). one is unemployed, the other has won an oscar and is one of the most sought after women in the world. one accepts food stamps, the other sends her kids to school where they have gourmet chefs. one is all but begging the public for money, and the other rebuilds homes, brings foreign aide and awareness to poverty stricken countries. yea. no delusions of grandeur here, folks. none. what.so.ever.

#2- Big Love is back on in its third season. this show strangely fascinates the hell out of me. the dynamics of it all... is just so damn intriguing. the comedic relief in this sordid tale is Bill Pullman's mother on the show. Louis Henrickson (his mother) is constantly trying to kill his dad. the woman is funny as it gets. why, you ask. allow me to answer that for you. she reminds me of my paternal grandmother. the way she acts. talks. thinks. its just EVERTHING. i am dead serious when i say it, too.

#3- i have been a slacker in the department of mommy-hood. i've not been taking pictures of my own brood. i promise you, my faithful reader/peeping toms, that after my "wee one" gets her new 'do at the groomers in the morning, i WILL take pictures. i will also take pictures of the house, so yall can see that progress too.

Pre-Halloween Weekend.

here lately i cannot seem to get enough sleep. my therapist says that a temporary side effect of paxil is sleepiness. i could use that excuse, but truth is, i'm a sleep slut. if i could sleep 21 hours out of everyday and still function in society, i so totally would. i honestly haven't a clue why i am like that. oh well. i'll just continue to reign in the supremecy of my title of the official jamison sleep whore.

C's longtime family friend didn't survive being taken off of life support. its always a sad thing to lose someone so unexpectedly. hell. for that matter, its (usually) always sad to lose someone you care for. on the upside in this unfortunate situation, C has reconnected with a childhood friend, with whom she has more in common than just cherished memories, than she originally thought. i think its fantastic. reconnecting is great when it warms your soul.

i finally uploaded a butt load of pictures off of my cell, including a picture of my most recently completed painting. this weekend we continued to torture jackson with the newly coveted red laser light. (when he turns out to have a wally eye, and a beer short of a case, we'll know what to blame.) and just for the record,... a dachshund's farts can seriously be lethal. great stars!!

liz, and cheryl did most of the carving on our pumpkins. i did my best to do as much as i could, but my hands just couldn't keep up with my ambition. i loathe that. then, the three of us had a trip up to Cola to my favorite bookstore, where the side effects of my favorite frozen concoction gave me brainfreeze and made me way too hyper way too quick. i got a new journal, as my tinkerbell one is finally full. i also attained a book entitled, made in the usa. it was absolutely fantastic! C got the first book of the twighlight series. i'll jump on that book too.

when we returned home after our Cola mini-adventure, we watched the movie Liz picked out, August Rush. and, OH. MY. STARS. that movie was absolutely A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! the Peter Pan undertones totally sold me. (yea, yea, we all know i'm a complete sucker for anything peter pan related.) robin williams (who played Peter Pan in HOOK) was the leader of 'the lost children' and the little boy from FINDING NEVERLAND played August Rush. but seriously, that movie was...just... wow. go get it. it is now on my list of all time favorite movies. it was a movie that set my soul aglow, it made me feel alive, like that there truly ARE amazing things in this world. it had another undertone that they played to perfection; fairytales. nothing overly romantic, nothing that couldn't happen in reality, nothing walt disney couldn't do. it wasn't your typical, run of the mill, ride off into the sunset happily ever after, either. this movie, is just... perfection at its finest.

below are the pictures i finally posted, with descriptions. peace out.

kitty kitty okay, i know its small. sorry about that. i was tinkering with the sizing of these damn pictures. but anyways, can you find kitty-kitty? (i had to alter the coloring to enable your "where's kitty-kitty" game.

Halloween Pumpkins '08 these are our pumkins. purty, purty. wish i had gone with my original idea to have three pumkins having a different word on each one. i'd thought to do, "wish." "hope." and, "love."

Princess Tiger Lilly here is my completed painting entitled, "Tiger Lilly." i got the idea from the spider lilly flower that bloomed in our field. Princess Tiger Lilly was also a character from Peter Pan. i couldn't get the color to show true in the picture, so i don't know whats up with that.

SMS here's me waiting in the carpool line at Sneed Middle School. those trees were juveniles when i attended that school, the first year it opened. i'm old. seriously. i was in 8th grade at that very school when Ellis and Alex were born, yet here I was, picking up Ellis from that very school. /sigh.

blurry but nice these two road pictures i took on my way back to orangeburg. i know they're blurry, but i thought they were kinda beautifully funky. blurry but nice

Better again, i couldn't get the color to remain true, but this gives you an idea of the color scheme to the outside of our house. pretty frikkin sweet, if you ask me. we've gotten LOADS of compliments. (even from the folks who installed the vinyl.... yea, that rocks!!) kinda hard to see...
