bliss.
here we are, at the very end of the process of building our house. i'm starting to get antsy now; there are so many things i want to do. honey doesn't want the house to look trashy, nor do i. i do want it to be personal, not the epitome of mediocre.
i'm thinking of all that is to come, god willing. i will enjoy this. i am enjoying this. i keep daydreaming of our future. harley, jackson, sophia, and kitty-kitty all wandering about, with a baby swing in the living room, and little piles of baby clothes sitting on the couch, waiting to be folded. just thinking about that brings about a warm, fulfilled feeling in my heart. i can't help but to smile.
we had my other brother, a, down for the weekend. i love them, they're great. i see them in each other. (although that should be common sense seeing as to how they are twins. duh.) we were supposed to begin packing while he was here. woops. my mama even yelled at me about that shit. boo on her.
my grandma's 80th birthday is fast approaching. wow. i can't believe she'll be that old. aunt b mentioned something about a dinner at grandma's favorite restaurant. we'll see if that holds true. i'll be shocked if it does. i hope it does happen; it'd do her good in so many ways.

this and that...
i must say, i am sitting here contemplating topics for this entry. to get my muses singing into my ear, i hit the 'play' button on my myspace music list. it goes without saying that my queen dominates the list, with the reigning supremacy that only she has cast over me. there is something about every aspect of her being that leaves me powerless to her spells of enchantment. there aren't many things this lady can do that displease me.
at first, the short haircut did just that. why shed all of that trademark hair? that's like dolly parton going down to an A cup. its blasphemous. then when her majesty departed from touring to persue her tv show and her critically acclaimed portrayal of annie in her broadway production, i was proud to see her raw talent extending all around. but i'd be lying to say i was happy she put a hold on touring. and then there's the one thing that leaves me in an ambiguous position: her duet with barry manilow. i absolutely LOATHE that song when it is sung by the original artists, dolly parton and kenny rogers. when i first heard reba and barry's rendition, it annoyed me. but now, it pulls me in like the tide. alas, i have succumbed to it. there are just some things you can't fight against.
this week has been a... busy one. honey had to be treated for another migraine in the er. then my sister... what can i say? teenagers, i tell ya. we are still awaiting the final verdict. i hope and sincerely pray it proves a point to her.
our camera situation leaves a shit taste in my mouth. one camera works, but its usb cord will not connect to the pc. the other camera which holds the same memory card, is not vista compatible. fantastic. i earnestly wish to post pictures of our house, as the tedious progress is nearing its end. i will try to steal a camera from my mom or wisabusth.
life is good.

fall unto me.
No spring nor summer beauty hath such grace
As I have seen in one autumnal face.
~John Donne the most horrid, foul, stinkiest, smelly smell of all smells was unleashed onto our back porch. and. it. won't. go. away. seriously, its putrid. i imagine its worse than sticking your head up an elephant's ass, or my Mama's dear gut farts. holy hell, this shit STINKS. everytime i get a whiff, i puke a little in my mouth.it smeels like a walking, talking puss pore vomited everywhere.
honey and i have been hit hard with some sort of nasty sickness crud. great buddha, it was MISERABLE at its finest. intermitten fever, glorious pressure in the head, sore throats, coughing, and just general aching all over. cramming vick's vapor rub up your nostrils, while sucking the mucus to the back of your throat, and trying to find a suitable position so that your head is semi-up and semi-down so you can breathe, all the while trying to loosen and relax your mind and body enough to get some sleep. yea. fat chance in hell. a hell that is you sitting on the shitter, knees drawn up with your feet off the floor, hands gripping the sides of the lid for dear life, beads of sweat falling into your eyes, while simultaneously holding back a sneeze so everything that you're...expelling...doesn't clog up the damn toilet or make it explode on your ass, literally.
i am loving this cooler weather. thank buddha its here, because we needed the relief from the heat. the house is coming along. most of the siding is completed. i think the majority of the plumbing and electrical is mostly completed, as well. yay!!
i've been having odd dreams as of late. some serious heavy symbolism goin on. and i haven't the foggiest on what they mean either. i can see where some say that your dreams are your subconscious' voice. but what i want to know is, how does your subconscious know what symbols mean what? for example, let's say, you dreamt that you placed a stinkbomb somewhere in public, just to see peoples' reactions. what does that mean? what if all it was, was that you farted in your sleep and it really stunk? i mean, ya know?
my honey's birthday will soon arrive, so i am pondering that. she will say, don't worry about it, or something to that effect. shit on that. in my family, birthdays were a big deal. it was YOUR day. you get one whole day out of the year just for you. your celebration. but my honey's family works differently than mine, as do all families differ from one to the next. but that's okay. we will make our own traditions.
today i saw this odd looking flower that i've never seen before in my entire existence. after a bit of googling, i discovered my honey was right; it is indeed a spider lilly. it is strangely beautiful, standing alone in a field. a strange beauty all alone. maybe its because i'm sick at the moment, but that touches me deep in my soul. strange.
i just looked it up again, and as it turns out, the spider lilly contains galanthamine, which is a natural herb to induce more vivid, intense dreams. fucking freaky as shit, man. so like, this flower pops up, unbeknownst to me, we get sick, and i have reallllllllly vivid dreams. freaky, man. freaky.
anyways,... i'm out like clay gayken. peace out, bitches.

Persephone is beginning her journey to see Hades.
sometimes, i think, the only way to move forward is to forgive. something inside my heart is in mid-change. i think i am beginning to forgive my dad. i will never understand, nor forget the lessons learned, but i think i can forgive him. the only way to stop the cycle is to let it go. the buck stops here.
well, they started installing the vinyl siding. i think the colors we chose will all pull together very nicely. she didn't like the gray, i didn't like the green. so, we compromised. when they finish installing it, i'll post pictures. :)
oh, it turned out that my mom sprained her ankle and her wrist. she is okay now though. thank buddha!! i have a few birthdays of certain people i hold dear coming upon us. time to send out bday cards. that just means halloween is just around the bend. i *triple* love carving pumpkins. fall is beginning to slowly creep up, and i'm ecstatic about that. i love the fall. the smell of the air, the colors of the trees...

update.
the past two weeks have been...interesting. i had one twin last week, and the other twin this week. but during the weekend in between, july 4th to be precise, Honey and i went to a cool little shindig. a childhood friend of mine had an all day festivity that totally rocked. greeks know how to have a great, old fashioned, clean time. what was even more cool, was that my parents let us have the house for the night, with them out of town. that was really cool to know that they trust me again. that, combined with them allowing the twins to come stay with me for a few days just...ROCKS.
in other news:
- with the foundation to our house complete, the framing is set to begin on monday. yay!!
- we may try (again) to go to florida soon. i hope we aren't deterred from going, this time!!
- my "step-sister" is a douchebag. for real. can we say "denial"?!
- i have a baptism to attend on sunday. little noah is too cute, as always!! i can't wait to see him.

family's the best.
i have officially secured my title as "the best big sister in the world." i taught mah boy what bein a country boy was all about. that freckle faced grin was all the confirmation i needed. absolutely adorable, witty, charming, and sarcastic as can be. he does me proud!
i thoroughly enjoyed spending time with him this week. and i think C did too. i think she'd make a great mama. she doesn't think so, but i do. but then again, if the situation ever comes about (*crosses fingers*), she'll be the super stressed, grey haired, hair thinning, needin xanax'es mama. i'd be the cool, laid back milf. yea, that's right, i said it,...MILF. fuck yea.
i genuinely hope and pray that one day C and i can arrive to the point of both being ready, willing, and able to have a family of our own one day. until then, call me the damn dog mama. < ahem >
anyways, our house is slowly coming along. the foundation is complete!! woohoo!!
